[About Me] Jordynn founded COM-GAP with a goal of providing professionals with the necessary tools to succeed in their communication careers.
Jordynn had seen many barriers and obstacles in the field, specifically in regards to education, community, inclusion, and opportunities. The goal of the organization from the start has been to make these resources accessible to ALL.

Kadeem joined the organization to use his skill set in content management to provide COM-GAP members with organized, quality educational tools and programs.
With a background in media production, Kadeem knows the fundamentals of creating attractive high-quality content. He has served on the executive board of multiple local organizations in the fields of media and community service. He is proud to use his talents to serve the community and help change lives.
Eboné joined COM-GAP as the Director of Education Initiatives to expand the organization’s outreach to high schools and colleges across New York State.
With her experience in education and law, she knows the important role education plays in helping break the cycle of poverty. She is an advocate for better education policies in our school districts. As our Director of Education, Eboné does this by visiting institutions and providing students with career information and opportunities to grow professionally.
Katie serves as COM-GAP’s Director of Operations, bringing years of nonprofit and organizational management experience. In 2016, Katie started a chapter affiliate of For a Day Foundation in Syracuse, NY and served as Chapter Director to help children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Katie helps to manage resources, along with developing, maintaining, and improving operational plans. This helps to ensure that COM-GAP’s procedures are properly executed and that policies are followed.
After working in calI centers for 15 years, Matt decided to follow his heart and pursue a career in broadcasting. Currently, Matt works at iHeartRadio as an on air talent, radio producer and podcast producer. He also assists with radio commercials and voice overs as well as volunteering on local community radio stations. Matt is passionate about community representation and serving overlooked and under served populations. At COM-GAP, he builds valuable relationships with people and organizations in our community.
Marc is all about writing, research and data. His experience in Office Management and Copy Writing are helpful as he manages activities involving existing and prospective COM-GAP members, such as: membership data and program updates, processes and policies to help increase involvement and engagement, and circulating info regarding membership and activities of the organization.
