Jordynn Barnhart: Children Awaiting Parents

In her free time after work at Volunteers of America, Jordynn serves on the events committee and the marketing committee for Children Awaiting Parents (CAP) assisting with planning and logistics for their fundraising events. She joined shortly after creating a matching gift campaign on Facebook for CAP, which led to a conversation with a CAP board member named Matt. Matt shared his experience as a former CAP board member and as an adoptive parent; and instantly, Jordynn fell in love and wanted to jump on board to drive their mission forward to find forever homes for the longest waiting children in foster care.
